One of my practices on AutoDesk for Android. On hindsight I wish I didn't use black stock images for the bushes.
Full ImageI'm in love with the autumn view in my college's aboretum. This is just one of them.
Full ImageI really can't think of the title for this. I was just practicing blending the colors, the my brain went: "How about adding some power transmission line?"
Full ImageVintage is one of the two theme my class picked for the yearbook. Honestly I'm not satisfied at all with my all of my pics. This is the one that I think "Meh, whatever."
Full ImageThis is my very first drawings on AutoDesk (I took half an hour just to figure out how to do blending). The original pics was actually an acrylic painting in a tutorial on 抖音, I planned to recreate it using watercolor too, but I'm too lazy now.
Full ImageEven filters can recreate all the beauty of the site. I remember I just wanted to sit there forever.
Full ImageThis is my second drawings on AutoDesk. I follow Gal Shir's famous tutorial, then another guy's tutorial on how to draw like Gal on AutoDesk.
Full ImageStill that dress, still that vibe, but somehow I look ridiculously better in this quick shot rather than the pic that has only me.
Full ImageAnother AutoDesk practice. I pick a Chinese title just because it's short - it literally means the moon comes up. I think it doesn't really suit the pic though, the pic is kind of a sci-fi, surreal vibe, while the title is a little bit more 'vintage' and nostalgic.
Full ImageI was wandering around on the Old Quarter of Hanoi, and came across this. It's literally a snapshot
Full ImageThe other theme we picked for yearbook was arcade - basically the 80-90s arcade games with neon lights. I think this makeup style is not for me at all. I should have stick to the light Korean style.
Full ImageThis was taken in an Airbnb in New Haven, just before I return to Vietname because of Covid. The light pattern got my attention immediately when I stepped into the room.
Full ImageAgain, I really think this scene can be on movies, or at least some Korean/Chinese love drama (it will be fantastic)
Full ImageI think letter S has a great place in my identity. My name is Sylvia. My country is S-shape. My sign is Scorpio. I'm a Slytherin. A bunch of other things that I suddenly forgot. So I drew this. It's originally a sketch in my minisize skecthbook, I digitalize if afterwards..
Full ImageIn Hanoi, Hàng Mã street is famous for selling decorations for special events. It always look so festive when it's around Lunar New Year, Mid-autumn festival, and as in this pic, Chirstmas.
Full ImageAll of the yearbook photos above are taken by my class (Chemistry specialized). This is the yearbook photo by my class year. It's a tradition at my school to have this photo red-backgrounded. I felt weird without something in my arms so I hold my friend Ice Bear (who is now also my 'deskmate')
Full ImageThe flamingo was actually a black stock image. I struggled for so long to get the reflection, as AutoDesk doesn't have the same function as Procreate.
Full ImageI think it's the same as the one above, but I use different filter to make the plants lighter
Full ImageIt was a nice Sunday, we (some of my Vietnamese and Chinese friends) woke up at 4 and drove to the beach side to see the sunrise. It was actually my first time seeing the sun rise. The view was fantastic and a lot of fun things happened on the trip too.
Full ImageOne of the shop on Hàng Mã street. I really want to buy the shop, the decors are way to cute. You can never get these on Amazon or Ebay (or even Shopee).
Full ImageOriginally a pencil sketch, then I put it into AutoDesk and color mask it. Fun fact 'bout me: I have always love phoenix. This powerful mythical creature have a great standing in Asian myths and culture. I also really like its meaning of rebirth and restore (I think the Scorpio sign also has that meaning).
Full ImageAnother letter art, using my favorite color as the color mask. I should do a letter art for my Vietnamese and Chinese name too.
Full ImageAnother pic on sunrise, but in the opposite direction. The purple-ish shade is so romantic.
Full ImageIt was a week into the academic year and we decided to drive here after class. We were not able to see the sun actually, it was in the opposite direction with the sun. But the twightlight look good enough. There was one moment that I will never forget. I saw a gay couple. Just that. Everyone else on the beach were treating them like a hetero couple. No bad words, no weird looks. It's something you hardly get in Hanoi (at least for now). The scene makes me believe in love.
Full ImageThe Airbnb in New Haven truly have a lot of cute things. This plant lies on the kitchen counter. The sunlight made the leaves look like it's shining. Too good for camera.
Full ImageThis was taken in the aboretum. I suddenly think of the trees around Sword Lake in Hanoi. They look quite similar during the autumn. Not the color, but the chilly vibe it gives.
Full ImageI love drawing the red walls in the Forbidden City, there are millions ways to draw it, with the red background. This is the first pic of this using AutoDesk. Obviously I'm not satisfied with it, like the red color should be a little more muted, the wall should look aged, and more natural, etc. I'm being picky again.
Full ImageI have wanted to draw him for so long, since his photo shoot with Bazaar was amazing. I drew the outline on paper, then color it with AutoDesk. I'm being easy on this: not a bad start for a beginner. To those who ask who he is: my idol - Xiao Zhan (肖战). He's a Chinese singer and actor. He has the face of a god and the personality of a saint (I'm fangirling again).
Full ImageQuite a step up from the last drawing of Red Wall. I spend extra time to draw the roof detail. The blossom took quite some times to try out the brushes. Look quite weird actually, but I will just leave it there.
Full ImageThe result look quite bright, but I really like this drawings. I sometimes wish I can be the white cat in here, sitting on the roof chilling, looking out at the yellow blossom in a nice autumn day.
