Purple Dream
This is my very first drawings on AutoDesk (I took half an hour just to figure out how to do blending). The original pics was actually an acrylic painting in a tutorial on 抖音, I planned to recreate it using watercolor too, but I'm too lazy now.

Another AutoDesk practice. I pick a Chinese title just because it's short - it literally means the moon comes up. I think it doesn't really suit the pic though, the pic is kind of a sci-fi, surreal vibe, while the title is a little bit more 'vintage' and nostalgic.

Arcade Vibe
The other theme we picked for yearbook was arcade - basically the 80-90s arcade games with neon lights. I think this makeup style is not for me at all. I should have stick to the light Korean style.

In Hanoi, Hàng Mã street is famous for selling decorations for special events. It always look so festive when it's around Lunar New Year, Mid-autumn festival, and as in this pic, Chirstmas.

Red Background Yearbook
All of the yearbook photos above are taken by my class (Chemistry specialized). This is the yearbook photo by my class year. It's a tradition at my school to have this photo red-backgrounded. I felt weird without something in my arms so I hold my friend Ice Bear (who is now also my 'deskmate')

New London Sunrise
It was a nice Sunday, we (some of my Vietnamese and Chinese friends) woke up at 4 and drove to the beach side to see the sunrise. It was actually my first time seeing the sun rise. The view was fantastic and a lot of fun things happened on the trip too.

Phoenix From The Ashes
Originally a pencil sketch, then I put it into AutoDesk and color mask it. Fun fact 'bout me: I have always love phoenix. This powerful mythical creature have a great standing in Asian myths and culture. I also really like its meaning of rebirth and restore (I think the Scorpio sign also has that meaning).

New London Sunset
It was a week into the academic year and we decided to drive here after class. We were not able to see the sun actually, it was in the opposite direction with the sun. But the twightlight look good enough. There was one moment that I will never forget. I saw a gay couple. Just that. Everyone else on the beach were treating them like a hetero couple. No bad words, no weird looks. It's something you hardly get in Hanoi (at least for now). The scene makes me believe in love.

This was taken in the aboretum. I suddenly think of the trees around Sword Lake in Hanoi. They look quite similar during the autumn. Not the color, but the chilly vibe it gives.

Red Wall - 红墙
I love drawing the red walls in the Forbidden City, there are millions ways to draw it, with the red background. This is the first pic of this using AutoDesk. Obviously I'm not satisfied with it, like the red color should be a little more muted, the wall should look aged, and more natural, etc. I'm being picky again.

Xiao Zhan's Bazaar shoot
I have wanted to draw him for so long, since his photo shoot with Bazaar was amazing. I drew the outline on paper, then color it with AutoDesk. I'm being easy on this: not a bad start for a beginner. To those who ask who he is: my idol - Xiao Zhan (肖战). He's a Chinese singer and actor. He has the face of a god and the personality of a saint (I'm fangirling again).

Red Wall and the Blossom
Quite a step up from the last drawing of Red Wall. I spend extra time to draw the roof detail. The blossom took quite some times to try out the brushes. Look quite weird actually, but I will just leave it there.

Maidenhair Blossom
The result look quite bright, but I really like this drawings. I sometimes wish I can be the white cat in here, sitting on the roof chilling, looking out at the yellow blossom in a nice autumn day.
